WIPM Virtual Event: "Authentic Leadership - Women Breaking Barriers and Shaping Leadership in Their Own Style "
This topic emphasizes authenticity, framing femininity as a strength rather than something that needs to be altered or minimized. As female Project managers, we can excel by staying true to ourselves, leveraging unique perspectives, and redefining leadership norms. We will be discussing the following key points:
- Women’s unique approaches to leadership, communication, and empathy.
- Strategies for maintaining authenticity in a corporate environment.
- How authenticity can create more inclusive workplaces.

Karin is a results-driven professional with progressive experience managing diverse teams and providing responsive leadership and technical expertise in businesses as diverse as film VFX, brand identity, technology, and social media. Clients have included international film companies, private, government, and global banking organizations.
Certified in both PMP and PMI-ACP, Karin uses her over 20 years of experience to run successful projects and business teams, providing strategic organizational transformations.
With a proven ability to manage resources in diverse industries as well as managing and scheduling teams in multiple time zones. She has a strong interest in people management and a passion for client/team relationship development that adds components for continued success. She is a transformative culture innovator through her leadership approach.
Specialties: Client liaison, project management, finance management, production and schedule planning, as well as staff acquisition and development.
