As a mentor in this program, you will:
- Earn Professional Development Units (PDUs) to support your PMI certification and professional growth.
- Be featured in PMI Manitoba’s Mentor Directory, showcasing your leadership within the community.
- Gain visibility through PMI’s official channels throughout the duration of the program.
- Receive a Certificate of Completion issued by PMI Manitoba, recognizing your valuable contribution.
Your Profile
Your project management experience is your greatest asset—and now is the time to
leverage it to make a meaningful difference.
We are seeking mentors who:
- Hold a post-secondary degree in project management or a related field, or possess an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Have at least 3 years of practical, hands-on experience in project management.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills with proven success in managing projects and teams.
- Reside in Manitoba and understand the local professional landscape.
Your Role as a Mentor
From June 2025 to November 2025, you will mentor a woman professional embarking on her project management career. Through biweekly one-hour meetings—either in person or online—you’ll provide valuable guidance, support, and encouragement as she develops her skills and confidence.
Your commitment is vital to the success of this mentorship experience. To support you throughout the six-month program, a dedicated facilitator and mentoring committee will provide you with resources, tools, and ongoing assistance.

- Engaging networking events and collaborative workshops
- A vibrant community of peers equally passionate about fostering new talent
