At Women in Project Management, we are committed to cultivating a dynamic and inclusive community where women project managers flourish as leaders, innovators and collaborators. 

This is why we designed this program to nurture a culture of excellence, providing tailored support, guidance, and resources to properly lead women toward success in their careers.

 

The Program

The Women in Project Management WIPM Mentorship Program delivers a structured, four-phase mentorship experience.

Over the course of 6 months, you will gain invaluable skills, insights, and connections to advance your career.

The program consists of four distinct phases: recruitment, orientation, ongoing mentorship meetings, and graduation. Throughout the duration of the program, participants will gain valuable skills, insights, and professional connections that contribute to long-term career development.

Phase 1: Recruitment of Mentors and Mentees

We identify and select eight high-potential mentees and accomplished mentors. Each pairing is strategically aligned based on experience, competencies, and professional goals to maximize impact and value for both participants.

Phase 2: Orientation and Goal Setting

Participants engage in a structured orientation designed to clarify roles, align expectations, and establish measurable, outcome-focused objectives. These goals are tailored to support individual growth while advancing the broader vision of leadership excellence within the project management field. 

Phase 3: Regular Meetings, Monitoring, Feedback and Evaluation

From June 2025 through November 2025, mentors and mentees meet biweekly—virtually or in person—to ensure consistent engagement and progress. The program incorporates ongoing performance tracking, feedback gathering, and targeted professional development sessions.

Phase 4: Recognition and Closure

The program concludes in November 2025 with a formal graduation and recognition event. This milestone celebrates participant achievements, highlights the transformative impact of the mentorship experience, and reinforces the value of investing in future project management leaders.
