Finalist Selection and Award Announcement
Project finalists in the first three award categories (CommunityImpact, Innovation in Project Delivery, and Project Leadership Excellence) were evaluated by PMI Manitoba’s industry-diverse panel of volunteer judges using standardized scoring rubrics. Winners in these three categories have already been determined and will be announced live at the Project of the Year Gala on September 16, 2026.
People’s Choice Award Eligibility
All project finalists are automatically eligible for the fourth and final award category: the People’s Choice Award. This award is determined through a voting process open to PMI Manitoba Chapter Members.
People's Choice Award Voting Instructions
PMI Manitoba Chapter Members are invited to watch all available Project of the Year finalist videos and cast an informed vote for the People's Choice Award between August 17–31, 2026.
As a recognition of the learning and professional development value of reviewing the finalist projects, PMI Manitoba is awarding 2 PDUs to members who watch all available finalist videos and participate in the voting process. The finalist showcases highlight real-world examples of project leadership, innovation, community impact, lessons learned, and project delivery excellence from across Manitoba.
