Multi-tasking: managing competing commitments

Dealing with competing commitments is something we’re all familiar with; as professionals, with our families, our friends, health care, self-care, and our homes, we juggle many different responsibilities every day. Sometimes the commitments we have overlap. For many of us, the pandemic has increased the level of stress caused by these responsibilities due to a loss of separation between home and work. That might look like helping children who are learning at home while holding down a full-time job or feeling like you’re “on-call” all the time because your office is just down the hall. Whatever your responsibilities are, stress is often the result when they collide.

Join us for an evening discussion with three panelists who will talk about their competing commitments and how they have managed them. There will be an opportunity for questions and a fun game. We’re also giving a prize to one of the attendees! You’ll come away having had a fun evening with other project management colleagues and, hopefully, having picked up some tips for managing your own competing commitments.
