June Virtual Chapter Event - The Art of Leadership

Power Skills

Having a C-level title does not make you a leader and you don’t need a title to lead. The key to  being an effective and successful Project Manager is Leadership. This leader is not defined by title, rank, or power, but by building meaningful relationships with stakeholders. The meaningful relationships inspire, influence, energize and move key stakeholders towards greater purpose for themselves as individuals, the team and the project goals and objectives.

“The Art of Leadership “ is about the importance of investing in People, knowing they are the most important resource for your project. Fasten your seatbelt as Educator, Speaker, PM mentor and  long standing PMI member/volunteer, Juanita DeSouza-Huletey  shares her take on "the art of leadership" with her own personal stories, experiences, challenges and barriers over the last 25+ years in different leadership roles and 30+ years’ experience in the IT industry in Winnipeg.

Learning Objectives

Participants will

  1. Understand the most important capabilities of being a good leader.
  2. Be aware of the barriers and challenges to become a great leader and how to overcome them.
  3. Acquire knowledge, tips, and tools to become an impactful leader based on Juanita’s signature leadership style.

Join Juanita DeSouza-Huletey, as she presents “The Art of Leadership”.
