April Lunch & Learn: "Negotiating priorities to deliver results and still have a life"

Power Skills

We are all being asked to do more. And more. AI tools are supposed to help. And perhaps they do, to some extent. Yet, there is no question that organizations as a whole are trying to do more and more, and do so while expecting project management professionals to help deliver results with increasing pressure on time, scope and resources.

In this interactive webinar, participants will play realistic simulations and negotiation expert John Shulman will share best practices for negotiating priorities with leaders, managers and other stakeholders. The interest-based methodologies and tools John will share not only improve project outcomes, but more importantly, they enable you to manage your own workload more effectively and preserve time for the important people and things in your life.

Learning Objectives:

  • Ensure manageable work priorities align with organizational objectives
  • Influence decision-making when change and uncertainty impact priorities
  • Maintain positive, productive work relationships while navigating divergent priorities
  • Reduce time and stress of unproductive interactions
