February Lunch & Learn: “The Power of the Pause: Leading with Courage in a Fast-Paced World"

Power Skills

In today’s fast-paced project environments, urgency often replaces clarity—and reactivity becomes the norm. *The Power of the Pause* invites project managers and leaders to explore how intentional pausing can strengthen decision-making, leadership presence, and confidence under pressure.

Drawing on real-world project leadership experience and coaching insights, this session offers practical tools to help leaders respond rather than react, navigate uncertainty with courage, and lead teams more effectively when plans change. Participants will leave with immediately applicable strategies to support both project delivery and sustainable leadership.

Learning objectives:

  • Understand why pausing is a critical leadership skill in complex project environments
  • Recognize the impact of constant urgency on decision-making, communication, and team performance
  • Apply simple, practical pause techniques to improve clarity, focus, and emotional regulation
  • Lead difficult conversations and project challenges with greater presence and confidence
  • Shift from reactive problem-solving to intentional, courageous leadership
