The University of Winnipeg PACE has partnered with PMI Manitoba for many years. Over the years, many students in the Project Management Diploma and, more recently, in the Advanced Business Management programs have taken advantage of the events and conferences offered by PMI Manitoba, like the PMI Manitoba monthly chapter meetings. Many of our students have taken volunteer positions with PMI Manitoba. At the PMI Manitoba conferences, such as Reignite, PACE staff can continue learning about the constantly changing industry while connecting with professionals working in project management. As sponsors, we want to continue to be part of the growing industry and offer students the opportunity to connect and network with like-minded professionals. Many students take advantage of this opportunity to learn and volunteer with PMI Manitoba and continue to give back long after they’ve graduated and have stepped into PM roles.
