September 2019 Chapter Meeting Cocktail Reception Event: The Manitoba Museum Bringing our Stories Forward Capital Renewal Project

Bringing Our Stories Forward Capital Renewal Project

The Manitoba Museum is the province’s largest, not-for-profit centre for heritage and science learning. It is noted for its three-dimensional walk-through galleries. Highlights include the Nonsuch, a full-size replica of the 17th-century sailing vessel, and the Urban Gallery, which takes you back in time to Winnipeg during the 1920s.

The Museum has now embarked on a major gallery renewal project which includes a visionary investment from our community that will transform 42% of the galleries of one of our province’s most vital cultural institutions.

Featuring nine award-winning natural and human history galleries that tell the story of Manitoba, an adventure awaits!

Join Seema Hollenberg, Chair of the Bringing Our Stories Forward Capital Project, in the newly renewed Nonsuch gallery for food & cocktails as Seema provides an overview of this exciting transformation and two more to come!
