April 2018 Chapter Meeting - Centre for Healthcare Innovation’s (CHI) Project Management Office

Centre for Healthcare Innovation’s (CHI) Project Management Office  presented Heather Tabin – Director, Project Management Office, George & Fay Centre Healthcare Innovation – Winnipeg Regional Health Authority


Heather has worked in the Manitoba Healthcare system for 24 years in various Health IT roles.  During this time she managed and provided oversight to many projects including representing Manitoba on Pan-Canadian steering committees and Boards. Currently she is the Director, Project Management at the Centre for Healthcare Innovation who collaborates with subject matter experts and stakeholders to drive solutions in diagnostic and discovery, research and quality improvement projects.

Heather is completing a Masters in Health Informatics at the University of Edinburgh.  She is Prince2 and Prosci certified and holds many technical certifications.

This presentation will include an overview of CHI’s portfolio of projects within the Manitoba Healthcare System including successes, challenges and lessons learned
