Ways of Working

The Product Owner is the key member of the Scrum Team who takes charge of leading the project strategically, collaborating with clients and team on a day-to-day basis, and managing the business value. 

This workshop is intended to cover the Agile techniques used to develop and manage products with Scrum teams. The course includes a blend of presentation, discussions, and virtual activities in a small group environment with an emphasis on Agile and Scrum techniques which help Product Owners to improve the quality and timely delivery of the products.

Apurva is a passionate, results-driven, and experienced leader with expertise in driving transformation programs across multiple industries. She currently works as a Manager of the PMO and QA department leading LAWPRO's core insurance platform and business transformation.

Prior to LAWPRO, she has worked at DXC, BLG, McMillan, Porter Airlines & NIIT Technologies. Working for these industries has provided her wide breadth of business and technology exposure as well provided her with the most interesting international cultural experience of working with teams and clients in Canada, the US, India, and the Caribbean.

Apurva has strong acumen in Business Analysis which has benefited her clients to re-engineer their business processes, bring efficiencies and turn around underperforming programs. This has benefitted her clients in expanding new business opportunities that have created new business growth and revenue increment.

She has led a wide variety of programs that range from $2 million to $30 million in TCV. She has earned credibility with the clients by her focus and attention to detail on stakeholder commitments, timelines, and costs. She strongly believes in transparency through constant interaction between the executive and cross-functional teams to ensure her programs are in line with the company vision, principles, strategies, and goals.
