PMI Manitoba's Response to COVID-19

As the leading organization advocating for Project Management in Manitoba, we are implementing measures to help prevent the transmission of COVID-19 to our members, volunteers, event participants, sponsors, and ultimately, to support the health and well-being of Manitobans.

As a precaution and as part of our pandemic risk mitigation plan, PMI Manitoba will postpone or cancel several of our upcoming events in order to support our community in containing the spread of COVID-19. Rest assured that our Board of Directors is taking this matter seriously as we assess various options to minimize the impact to our chapter’s operations. To be specific, here are the list of events impacted by our risk mitigation plan:

  • March Networking Event – Cancelled
  • April Lunch Meeting – Cancelled
  • Elevate 2020 Conference – Postponed to a later date (to be announced)
  • Project of the Year Gala – Postponed to a later date (to be announced)

If you have registered for any of these upcoming events, you will receive separate emails from the organizing committees of these events advising you with the next steps.

We will continue to actively monitor the situation and will take further actions as needed based on the development of the situation.
