Call for Nominations - 2026 Board of Directors
Call for Nominations: 2026 Board of Directors
January 28, 2026
Dear PMI Manitoba Chapter Member,
The annual election of members to the PMI Manitoba Board of Directors is once again approaching, and nominations are now being accepted for the 2026–2028 term (i.e., from April 2026 to March 2028).
All elected Board positions are for a two-year term.
For this upcoming term, there are four (4) open positions to be filled: one (1) direct election position and three (3) Director-at-Large positions. For the Director-at-Large roles, the three candidates receiving the highest number of votes will be elected from the pool of nominees. As outlined in Chapter Policy #21, Directors-at-Large will be assigned specific Board portfolios aligned with their experience and the chapter’s strategic and operational priorities once the election process is complete.
Descriptions of each Board position, along with Board member eligibility criteria, are enclosed in this link and are provided in accordance with the current PMI Manitoba Chapter By-laws. All individuals putting their names forward as candidates will be required to submit:
- a short biography,
- a vision statement, and
- a signed PMI Manitoba Board of Directors Candidate Compliance Statement.
Further details regarding these requirements will be provided by the PMI Manitoba Nominating Committee once a candidate has formally expressed interest in submitting a nomination.
Nominations will close at 5:00 PM CST on Friday, March 6, 2026.
Following the close of nominations, a list of candidates and their biographies will be shared with the chapter membership for review.
The Election of Officers will take place electronically in mid to late March 2026 using PMI Global’s Votenet service. Eligible members will receive an email containing the Votenet URL along with a unique user ID and password. Members are encouraged to add noreply@votenet.com to their trusted senders list to ensure timely receipt of voting instructions. Election results will be announced at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on March 25, 2026.
Juan Saldivar, P.Eng, PMP, has been appointed as Chair of the Nominating Committee and will oversee the election process. He will also serve as the primary point of contact for members interested in submitting a nomination or seeking further information about Board roles or the election process.
Members wishing to express interest in a Board position, or who have questions regarding nominations, are invited to contact the Nominating Committee at the email address below.
